How I handle your data.

Your data belongs to you. I collect only what is necessary for sound advice, store it in Switzerland, disclose nothing to third parties, and delete it as soon as statutory retention periods allow.

The processing of your personal data is governed by the revised Swiss Data Protection Act (revDSG). For persons resident in the European Economic Area, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) additionally applies, insofar as its material scope is engaged.

I process exclusively the following types of data:

• Contact details that you provide in the form or by email: name, email, and optionally phone and year of birth.
• Your request, that is, your selection in the form as well as any free-text details about your situation.
• Advisory data that arises over the course of the mandate: income, pension, insurance and wealth details. I only record these when you actively provide them.
• Technical data that the hosting provider processes automatically when the site is accessed: IP address, browser type, time of access, resource requested.

Your data is used exclusively to answer your enquiry, to arrange a first consultation, to carry out any advisory mandate that may arise, and to fulfil statutory retention and documentation obligations.

Disclosure to third parties takes place only if you have consented, if it is necessary to perform the contract, for instance to obtain a quote from an insurance or pension institution, or if there is a legal obligation.

External processors (for example hosting, email) are contractually bound to comply with data protection and process data exclusively on instruction.

This website is operated in a data centre within Switzerland or the European Economic Area. When the site is accessed, server log files are processed to ensure the operation and security of the site. These logs are anonymised or deleted at the latest after 90 days.

This website sets no marketing or tracking cookies and embeds no third-party analytics tools. Only technically necessary data is processed, without a usage profile being created from it.

Data from contact enquiries that do not lead to a mandate is deleted at the latest twelve months after the last communication. Advisory and mandate data is retained for the statutory retention periods, as a rule ten years, and then securely deleted.

You have the right to,

• obtain information about the data processed about you,
• have inaccurate data corrected,
• request the deletion or blocking of your data, insofar as there is no statutory retention obligation,
• object to processing,
• withdraw any consent given at any time with effect for the future.

A short note by email is sufficient. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority, in Switzerland the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (EDÖB).

The website is transmitted in encrypted form via TLS. On request, I exchange sensitive advisory documents via a password-protected portal, not by unencrypted email.

This privacy policy may be adjusted if legal or technical conditions change. The version published at the time of the data processing is the one that applies.
